ccidentally found this place some years ago when I made a turn onto a street while following my gps, and just behind some trees, it was there. My family are all from the Appalachian region and I miss and loved there home down cooking, so I thought the wife and I would give them a chance to prove their skills... boy o' boy, were they spot on with their food! I've been there 4 times in the last four years when I had down south from Michigan. They will not disappoint you. Check the hours though, they have families and that is important to these ladies, so they aren't open late. Check their times, and stop of you can!

Just got to visit Kentucky for the first time, this was the first place I went to. Astonishingly friendly staff, very cozy kind of at-home feel to it. The food is seasoned really well and the quality of the food far outshines the price they ask for. My only regret is not having time to go back for another meal before I had to go :(
My wife and I eat here often and we love the food and the country style atmosphere and the people there are so friendly and give us great service.
A little hole-in-the-wall. The food is good. It was worth going to once. But it's too far away to go back unless I'm in the area for some other reason.
Moved close by and was looking for somewhere that had some good ol home cooking. Stopped by and was not disappointed. Food was amazing and staff were friendly and accommodating. Much more on the menu I want to try.
Good pork tenderloin. Good Mac and cheese. Chicken salad good. We will be back to try out more items.
Nice place, great food, very reasonable prices. Only open for lunch, but the lunches are awesome. I had the Hot Brown, and I must say it is one of the top three I have ever had. I think it is better that the one at The Brown Hotel. Perfect portion of meat, really nice country ham comes through, fresh tomato, smoked bacon, and the key to a good Hot Brown, a PERFECT sauce. Don't miss this one.
